Daily Mysore practice from 6:30am - traditional method, personal adjustments, Lino Miele lineage
View Mysore Schedule →Goyoga is home to Tallinn's only traditional Ashtanga Mysore programme. Every weekday morning at 6:30am, our shala opens for self-practice in the Mysore style - the way Ashtanga was meant to be taught: one student, one breath, one posture at a time, with individual guidance from your teacher.
Our founder Raili Maripuu trained directly with Lino Miele and is recognised as an authorised teacher in the traditional Ashtanga lineage. Whether you're working through Primary Series or have an established practice, you'll receive hands-on adjustments and personalised attention in every session.

"I've practised Mysore across Europe and Asia. Raili's shala in Tallinn is among the most authentic I've experienced. The adjustments are precise, caring, and deeply knowledgeable."

You arrive at 6:30am, the city still quiet. You slip off your shoes, leave your things in the changing room, and walk into the shala. A few students are already on their mats, moving through their own sequences at their own pace. There is no group instruction and no counting out loud. That is the beauty of Mysore: you learn the Ashtanga sequence gradually, posture by posture, and practise it independently while the teacher moves through the room offering hands-on adjustments.
If you have never tried Mysore before, your teacher will sit with you and walk you through the Sun Salutations and the opening standing poses. Over the following weeks, new postures are added as your body and breathing are ready. This makes early morning yoga accessible to everyone, not only experienced practitioners. Many of our regulars started with no Ashtanga background at all. We also see plenty of men practising at Goyoga, especially in the Mysore programme, where the focus is on building strength and discipline alongside flexibility.
Goyoga's Ashtanga programme follows the method as passed down by Lino Miele, one of the most respected teachers in the tradition. Our founder and lead teacher, Raili Maripuu, trained directly with Lino over many years and brings that same precision and warmth to every class. She is supported by Victoria and Keiu, both dedicated Ashtanga practitioners with years of daily practice and teaching behind them.
In keeping with Ashtanga tradition, we observe moon days (no practice on full and new moons) and encourage a six-days-a-week commitment. Saturday is traditionally the rest day. The studio opens early enough that most people finish their practice, shower in one of our two shower rooms, and make it to work on time. If mornings are not your thing, you can always drop in to any of our other classes later in the day. The Ashtanga Pass at 59 EUR per month gives you unlimited access to both Mysore and Led classes.
