"I take the morning ferry from Helsinki once a month just for the Mysore class here. The teaching quality is exceptional and at Estonian prices it is incredible value compared to Helsinki studios."
- Finnish yoga practitioner, Helsinki
Here is how many of our Finnish visitors do it: take the morning ferry from Helsinki (about 2 hours), arrive in Tallinn by late morning, and come to the studio for a lunchtime or afternoon class. After practice, you have time to explore the Old Town, grab a coffee, or do some shopping before catching the evening ferry back. The whole thing works as a mini wellness day trip, and at Estonian prices, you are saving money compared to a Helsinki studio visit.
If you want to make more of it, consider staying overnight for a proper mini wellness break. Practice in the evening, sleep well, and come back for a morning drop-in class before heading to the port. Our studio is about 10 minutes from the ferry terminal by tram or taxi, so the logistics are simple. No booking or membership needed for drop-in visits. Just check the schedule, show up a few minutes early, and you are good to go.
Language is never a barrier here. All our teachers speak fluent English, and several speak Finnish as well. The studio is in a central location on Narva mnt 7D, just a 5-minute walk from the Old Town and easy to reach from the port area. You will find a warm, international community that makes visitors feel at home from the moment they walk in.
There is also a strong connection between the Finnish and Estonian yoga communities, especially in the Ashtanga Mysore tradition. Both countries share lineage connections through teachers like Lino Miele and Petri Raisanen, so if you practice Ashtanga in Helsinki, you will feel right at home in our Mysore room. The teaching style, the counting, the adjustments - it all feels familiar. Many Finnish practitioners visit regularly and have become part of our community over the years.
All classes taught in English. International community, welcoming atmosphere.
No membership needed. Walk in, unroll your mat, and practise. All levels welcome.
